Why book this ride, not drive it down the Parkway

Flight tracking, flat rates, Sprinter capacity, and 60 minutes of complimentary wait time

Flight Tracking, Traffic-Aware Dispatch

We monitor your arrival from takeoff and watch GSP conditions in real time. Delays, early landings, or a sudden Driscoll Bridge slowdown, dispatch adjusts the pickup window automatically.

Flat Rates, No Surge

The quote you receive is the final price. No surge on Sunday afternoons. No hidden Parkway toll line items. Tolls and gratuity are built into the flat rate for every vehicle tier.

Sprinter Vans for Beach Rentals

Multi-family Bay Head or Lavallette rentals, eight to ten people with rollers and coolers, fishing-charter groups out of Manasquan Inlet. One Mercedes Sprinter beats two sedans on the GSP.

60 Minute Complimentary Wait

Sixty minutes of wait time from your actual landing, included on every flat rate. Clear customs, find your bag, hit the restroom. No meter ticking, no extra charge.

The drive to Point Pleasant: GSP Exit 98, Route 35 approach

About 65 miles south, 1 hour 20 minutes off-peak

Distance and drive time

From the Newark Airport cell phone lot, our drivers head out via the Turnpike interchange, then south on the Garden State Parkway down to Exit 98 for Point Pleasant and Route 35. That’s the exit we use for almost every Point Pleasant Beach or Bay Head drop. Off-peak, the whole thing is about 1 hour 20 minutes door to door. A Friday afternoon, sure, you can pad another 30 to 45 minutes onto that.

Route 35 picks up off Exit 98 and brings you straight onto the peninsula. For Point Pleasant Beach drops, our drivers stay on 35 South across the Manasquan River bridge into town. For Bay Head, same exit, just a touch further. Mantoloking sits a bit further south on 35, and Lavallette is past that. One spine, four towns.

Summer-weekend bridge timing: the honest part

The honest part: summer Saturday mornings, the Route 35 bridge over the Manasquan River into Point Pleasant Beach can back up something fierce. We’ve watched a normally 4-minute crossing turn into 25 minutes between 10 AM and noon on a hot July weekend. The Sunday northbound version on the return is its own thing. Bay Head pickup, Sunday afternoon in August, 7 PM flight: our drivers want to leave by 4:00, not 4:30. The buffer matters, and it’s bigger than first-time beach renters expect.

And, fair to say, the trip to Point Pleasant is a longer ride than what we do for Asbury Park or Red Bank. About 15 to 20 minutes longer than Asbury, give or take. That’s the trade for the Barnegat Peninsula’s quieter end. People who live in Bay Head know that already. First-time beach-rental travelers sometimes don’t, so we mention it before we quote the ride.

NJ Turnpike and Parkway tolls for the EWR-to-Point-Pleasant lane add roughly $6 to $10 each way depending on vehicle class. Sprinter and SUV tiers sit higher than a sedan on the axle classifications. Every toll and the gratuity is built into the flat rate, so a Bay Head family booking an Escalade for a 5 AM EWR transfer is never watching the meter at a Parkway gantry. It’s quoted up front and that’s the number you pay.

And the reverse direction, Point Pleasant back to Newark airport, works the same way. Same flat-rate band, same vehicles, same chauffeur quality. Most of our Point Pleasant clients book both legs at the same time: drop-off on arrival, pickup on departure, locked in before they fly.

One flat-rate band covers Point Pleasant, Bay Head, Mantoloking, and Lavallette

Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach

Most of our Point Pleasant rides land on or near the boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach. That’s the strip with Jenkinson’s pier, Martell’s Tiki Bar, the aquarium, and wide sand stretching down to Manasquan Inlet. Drop-offs are usually at a rental on Arnold or Ocean Avenue, a hotel like the White Sands, or a marina at the Inlet for a charter morning. Boardwalk weekends in July and August get busy, so our drivers stage on the side streets a block back from Ocean Ave when traffic backs up.

Point Pleasant proper (the bigger borough west of the canal) is where a lot of year-round residents live. Pickups there are calmer. The Manasquan River side has its own marina cluster, and we move folks between bayside rentals and EWR for Monday-morning flights.

Bay Head, Mantoloking, and Lavallette

Bay Head is the quiet, residential, established end of this stretch. Shingle-style homes, mature trees, a couple of inns, a yacht club. Different demographic than the boardwalk crowd. Most Bay Head pickups are residential, often retired professionals heading to a winter flight or a daughter’s wedding in Charleston. Mantoloking skews even quieter, with the long bridge approach from Route 35 across Barnegat Bay.

Lavallette sits a few miles south, smaller, family-owned shore rentals and a calmer beach scene. We treat Lavallette as the southern edge of this page’s flat-rate band.

“From” rates above are starting points. See live ‘from’ pricing per pickup town and date in the booking widget at the top of the page. All flat rates include tolls, gratuity, and 60 minutes of complimentary wait time from your actual landing. Sprinter and SUV pricing covers groups of 6+ headed to or from a single Point Pleasant, Bay Head, Mantoloking, or Lavallette address.

Sedan and SUV

Two travelers with a couple of bags, our business-class sedan (Mercedes E-Class or similar) is the right pick for a Point Pleasant drop. Three or four travelers with full luggage, the business-class SUV (Suburban, Escalade) gives you the rear cargo space. For a Bay Head residential pickup, a first-class sedan (Mercedes S-Class) is the common request. Quiet ride, discreet pull-up.

Sprinter van

The Sprinter is the multi-family answer. Two families splitting a Bay Head or Lavallette rental for a week, eight to ten people total, six rollers and a cooler, that’s a Sprinter. Fits everyone in one vehicle, beats coordinating two sedans on the GSP, and the per-person math usually beats two cars once you add both flat rates. It’s also the standard pick for fishing-charter groups out of Manasquan Inlet when there are six or more flying in for a Saturday morning trip. Our Newark airport Sprinter van service page covers the bigger options.

Common Point Pleasant rides we handle

Summer boardwalk weekends, fishing-charter mornings, and off-season Bay Head residential work

Summer boardwalk weekends (Jenkinson’s, Martell’s)

Friday-to-Sunday in July and August, our drivers do a steady stream of boardwalk-side drops in Point Pleasant Beach. Jenkinson’s-area rentals, houses on Arnold and the streets a block back from the boardwalk, the White Sands. Typical group is a family of four or five flying in from Chicago or Dallas for a long weekend. The Saturday boardwalk stretch from 10 to noon is the slow window, and we plan around it.

One thing worth saying: rideshare on a summer Sunday afternoon out of Point Pleasant back to EWR can be brutal. Surge gets real, and the available-driver pool thins out fast once everyone’s heading home. A flat-rate pre-booked ride avoids both. People learn this the hard way once.

Fishing-charter mornings out of Manasquan Inlet

The other rhythm on this lane is the 5 AM fishing-charter pickup. Boats out of Manasquan Inlet (Hoffman’s, Crystal Point, Bogan’s) start lines around 6 in the summer, which means a 5 AM Newark pickup for guys flying in the night before. Our dispatch sees these in the booking notes and pairs them with chauffeurs who don’t mind the pre-dawn shift. Coffee at the pickup if asked. Cooler in the trunk.

Off-season Bay Head residential

Off-season, Bay Head turns into one of our quieter, steadier slices of work. November through April, residential pickups for trips down to Charleston or Naples, the occasional grandchild’s wedding, a Wednesday-morning return from a board meeting in London. First-class sedan, on time, no chitchat unless the client opens it. Bay Head is a town that values that kind of service, and we built the lane for it. And, fair to say, the regulars on this lane are loyal: the same Bay Head families book us four or five times a year for the same flight pattern.

For travelers heading further south on the shore corridor, our LBI car service page covers the Long Beach Island lane. Heading north on the corridor instead, our Monmouth County car service page covers the next-county footprint just across the Manasquan River: Spring Lake, Belmar, Asbury Park, Long Branch, and Red Bank. And the broader Newark airport to Jersey Shore guide breaks down all four shore destinations and the drive math for each. If you’re combining a Point Pleasant trip with a stop further south, Things to do on LBI is the planning piece worth a read.

And the reverse direction, Point Pleasant back to Newark airport, works the same way. Same flat-rate band, same vehicles, same chauffeur quality. Most of our Point Pleasant clients book both legs at the same time, drop-off on arrival, pickup on departure, locked in before they fly. For travelers heading further south after a Newark layover, our Newark to Atlantic City car service lane sits about 90 minutes further south. Same chauffeurs, same flat-rate model.

Point Pleasant car service: frequently asked questions

How much is car service from Newark airport to Point Pleasant?

Pricing is flat-rate by vehicle tier, with the same band covering Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach, Bay Head, Mantoloking, and Lavallette. Business-class sedan is the entry tier, business-class SUV is the most common Point Pleasant pick for families with luggage, and the Sprinter van handles groups of 6 to 14 for multi-family rentals or fishing-charter parties. The booking widget shows the live “from” rate per lane and date, and the quote locks at booking. Tolls, gratuity, and 60 minutes of complimentary wait time from your actual landing are included in every flat rate.

How long is the drive from EWR to Point Pleasant Beach?

About 65 miles, and our drivers do it door-to-door in roughly 1 hour 20 minutes off-peak. Garden State Parkway south to Exit 98, then Route 35 onto the Northern Barnegat Peninsula. Add 30 to 45 minutes Friday afternoons in summer, and another 15 to 25 on the Route 35 bridge into Point Pleasant Beach on hot July or August Saturday mornings between 10 AM and noon. For an early Monday flight, we tell Bay Head and Point Pleasant clients to leave by 4:30 AM if the takeoff is before 7.

Do you cover Bay Head and Mantoloking?

Yes. Bay Head, Mantoloking, and Lavallette all sit on this page’s flat-rate band along with Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach. Bay Head and Mantoloking are mostly residential pickups for us, and our chauffeurs know the bayside streets and the long bridge approach off Route 35. Same flat-rate quote per vehicle tier, same 60-minute wait time, same flight tracking. Pick your pickup town in the booking widget and the live rate shows for that exact address.

Can you handle a 5 a.m. fishing-charter pickup?

Yes, we do these regularly. 5 AM Newark pickups for guys flying in the night before and chartering out of Manasquan Inlet at 6 AM are a steady piece of our Point Pleasant work, summer and fall both. Our dispatch flags fishing-charter bookings in the notes and pairs them with chauffeurs who handle the pre-dawn shift. Coffee at pickup if you ask, cooler space in the trunk, drop right at the marina you specify (Hoffman’s, Crystal Point, Bogan’s, Inlet Marina). Book the night before so dispatch can stage the chauffeur for the 5 AM slot.

Do you offer Sprinter vans for family beach rentals?

Yes. The Mercedes Sprinter handles 6 to 14 passengers with full luggage and is the common pick for multi-family Point Pleasant, Bay Head, Lavallette, and Mantoloking beach rentals. Two families splitting a house for a week, eight to ten people with rollers and a couple of coolers, fits in one Sprinter without anyone holding a bag on a lap. The per-person math usually beats two sedans once you add both flat rates. Same flat-rate model applies, no surge, tolls and gratuity included.
